House of R.E.E. works in partnership with Los Angeles County departments, juvenile facilities, chambers of commerce, ministries and local service providers. When a need falls outside what we deliver directly, we hand it to a partner we trust and stay involved.
Los Angeles County Probation — Child Welfare Placement Services
The Probation Child Welfare Department’s mentoring program oversees foster care services for foster youth and provides lifelong connections with caring volunteers from the community. Dr. Etta Clark has served as a committed mentor and lifelong connection in the program since 2019.
House of R.E.E. conducts weekly visits to the young adults at Sylmar Juvenile Hall, sharing words of encouragement, inspiring messages and life skills in order to prepare them to rejoin society.

We talk about what comes next: how to handle the first month out, how to speak to an employer, and who to call when something goes wrong. Many of those young people stay connected with us after release.
Probation officers, social workers, school counselors, clinicians and clergy can refer directly using our assistance form. Indicate your agency and we will follow up with you, usually the same day.
If your organization serves the same families we do, there is almost certainly a way to work together. We are also actively seeking employer partners willing to hire through a fair-chance pipeline.
